Tim Peake at Theatre Severn on 10 October, fireworks in Craven Arms on the 24th, then Shrewsbury and Whitchurch on 7 November, and Walcot Hall's trails.
Shropshire’s autumn diary is led by the theatres. Tim Peake brings his space show to Theatre Severn on Saturday 10 October, now at 2pm and 7pm, with Jeremy Bowen, Joe Calzaghe, Jimmy Nail and Chris Packham on the same stage around him. Then come the county’s three confirmed firework nights: Craven Arms on Saturday 24 October at the start of half term, and the West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury and Alderford Lake in Whitchurch, both on Saturday 7 November.
Updated 4 October: Bridgnorth has published its Remembrance Sunday times (service 9.30am, parade 10.15am), and last weekend’s October Fest and Apple Day have been removed.
Updated 6 October: we have added the Made in Shropshire artisan fairs in Shrewsbury, Dudmaston and Much Wenlock, and the Shrewsbury Farmers Market Autumn Fair.
Updated 3 October: Lucy Worsley has sold out, Tim Peake has a second show at 7pm, and we have added Alderford Lake’s fireworks, Walcot Hall’s Halloween trails, Attingham’s twilight walk, Taste of Asia, Jimmy Nail, Joseph and the Craven Arms Frost Fair.
Everything below was read from the organisers’ own pages and re-checked on 3, 4 and 6 October 2026, and links back to them, so check the link before you set off. This is a county page: it covers Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Ludlow, Bridgnorth, Craven Arms and Whitchurch, and it grows as more organisers publish.
